Talking to people came naturally, but I also enjoyed solving problems, like figuring out why a restaurant was underperforming. I loved improving customer service and addressing any underlying issues that went unnoticed by others. Building relationships and honing people skills were key talents that I developed in the food industry, which shaped my approach to leadership.
Although life was going smoothly, things shifted when my dad was diagnosed with cancer. As a 30-year-old man, it was difficult for me to watch his health decline. We spoke to many doctors and did everything we could, until my family and I focused on making his final years as comfortable as possible. One cherished memory was taking him to a Notre Dame football game with my brothers before his passing.

It’s interesting how, when one door closes, another opens. I met my wife Christy, who brought joy and love back into my life. As we built our family with our children—Crystal, Jay, Dante, and Chandrah—I started considering a career change. I wanted a lifestyle that allowed me to spend more time with my family and eliminate late nights.
Christy and I decided to pursue real estate together, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. Real estate allows me to help people achieve their dreams while also giving me the flexibility to prioritize family and community.

I’m especially close to my granddaughter, Cordelia, who is age 7 and we go out to breakfast regularly. Our breakfast outings are a highlight of my week. I also enjoy golfing, watching live Notre Dame games, and organizing community events that raise money for women’s and children’s charities. Real estate has truly been a rewarding journey, especially because I get to do it with Christy.
Christy: Since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated with houses. A home is such an important foundation, and I believe everyone, regardless of their background, deserves a place to call their own.

Alongside this fascination, I developed a strong interest in business and numbers, which led me to work at a credit union, where I helped process loans. It was a great stepping stone into real estate, a career path that had always intrigued me.
Around this time, I met Jim, and we began building our life together with our children. Fueled by excitement for the possibilities in real estate, I earned my license and jumped into the business. As a couple, life threw us a challenge when my mother was diagnosed with dementia. Research revealed that being around children could slow its progression, so I opened a daycare business in our home. This business allowed me to care for my mom while surrounding her with children –– which made her feel younger and more like herself –– while I also worked as a part-time REALTOR®.
Eventually, I transitioned to real estate full-time, finding it to be a deeply fulfilling career. Achieving homeownership is not always easy, but I go above and beyond to make it happen for my clients. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting blankets with intricate designs, often gifting them to my clients as a personal touch. I’m also an avid reader with a particular love for suspense novels. Every chapter of my life has made me a more compassionate professional, dedicated to helping anyone—and I mean anyone—find a home to call their own.
Our job is to represent you and help you make informed decisions when buying a house. We won’t push or persuade you but will provide important information so you can choose what’s best for you. As a team, we complement each other’s strengths. If you prefer straightforward communication, you can talk to Jim. If you’d rather have someone guide you with a softer touch, Christy is there for you. No matter who you talk to, we’re always available to answer questions and guide you with honesty through the process. Our goal is to get you the best deal while looking out for your interests. We even offer our clients our FREE moving truck to make things easier.
With us, the process never gets stuck because one of us is always available to move things forward. We handle all the details, from organizing home inspections to managing paperwork, so you don’t have to. We also have a trusted team of agents, staff and vendors for any needs that arise. Specializing in residential and new construction homes, we’re here for you even after the sale. We look forward to seeing you at one of our client appreciation events!
